Hello my name is Marek,

I am originally from Prague (Czech Republic) and came to England 16 years ago, where I met my wife. We have two boys that also keep me busy.

My experience and knowledge in hospitality has grown hugely in this time. I worked in a nursing home then moved on to larger chain companies like Jamie's Italian, Mitchells & Butlers to more refined cooking at The Inn At Welland,  The Beckford Inn and a few more places in the Cotswolds.

I started working as a self employed chef just before the challenge of covid came along and I have never looked back. Through the past years I have had the privilege to work in some brilliant places beside some great chefs. 

I would say I am a calm composed chef with eye for detail and final touch. 

I am based in Tewkesbury so a great starting point. Not too far to get to Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester and many more places. 

My current availability is from Wednesday to Sunday, this can be a long term post. I am also available for holidays and last minute cover.
